Loft bathroom renovation

A dated loft bathroom taken back to the joists and rebuilt. New stud walls were framed out, the wet areas tanked, and the room tiled floor to ceiling in large-format marble-effect porcelain, with a walk-in shower, a bath set under the skylight and a wall-hung double basin.

  • Loft bathroom stripped back, with new timber stud framing and a concealed cistern frame
  • Waterproof tanking membrane on the walls and large floor tiles going down with levelling clips
  • Walk-in shower lined in marble-effect porcelain, with a recessed niche and thermostatic controls
  • Wall-hung double basin beneath a backlit LED mirror in a marble-effect tiled bathroom
  • Bathroom wall with tile-faced access panels that line up with the surrounding tiles
  • Tiled doors opened to reveal hidden storage built into a bathroom wall

Look at the last two photos together. The cupboard doors in the wall are faced in the same tile as the wall around them, so when they’re shut they all but disappear.

Shop fit-out

A shop unit stripped back to bare walls and floor, then rebuilt: the floor levelled, herringbone wood flooring laid through the front, a fitted kitchen behind a serving hatch, a counter, built-in shelving and lit display boxes.
